Realme Achieved Second Position In the 3rd Quarter Market Sale in November 2023

Realme managed to achieve second position in the third quarter with a bang. Although Samsung always managed to be at the top position within the smartphone industry, still it has witnessed a sudden decline in its market share growth. The November month, that is, the third quarter, has showcased several smartphone launches, and among all other brands, Realme has managed to be at an excellent position in its market share growth. 

At the same time, according to the IDC(International Data Corporation) November 2023 report, Realme has noticed a significant growth in its market share and has managed to attain second position in the third quarter this year. 

Realme has managed to have a 15.1% market share in the 3rd quarter of this year, which is significantly more than the 3rd quarter of 2022. The market share percentage of Realme in the 3rd quarter this year has increased by 6.5%, which is incredible.

Although, as usual, Samsung has attained the top position in order to become India’s top brand with a market share percentage of 16.2%. Despite achieving the top position, Samsung has to face a significant decline of 12.2% in the market share as compared to last year’s 3rd quarter percentage.

Meanwhile, coming back to Realme, last year Realme achieved third position within the market share growth percentage. But this time, Realme has achieved a significant growth of 6.5%, making it one of the most popular brands in India. Most prominently, the 5G factor was also responsible for the market share growth of the brands, while each smartphone manufacturer has ensured to pack the best possible capabilities of 5G, from its fast speed to several other features.

In addition to sporting 5G capabilities, another reason that contributed the most to the sudden growth within the market share percentage of Realme is the Realme C53 and Realme 11 5G series. Meanwhile, talking about market share among Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000, the Realme 11 Pro series has been quoted with the highest demand.

Other than that, the top five brands include Samsung, Realme, Vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO, with market share percentages of 16.2%, 15.1%, 13.9%, 11.7%, and 9.9%, respectively.

Realme Watch S2 with ChatGPT-powered AI voice assistant and Realme 13 Pro series 5G will launch in India on July 30. Earlier in 2020, the Realme Watch S was launched, and now its successor will come with a ChatGPT-powered AI personal assistant. 

The upcoming Realme Watch S2 may have a circular dial with two buttons on the right side. This Realme Watch S2 may come in the market in golden colour, like the Monet Gold Realme 13 Pro Series.

However, in the previous version, a Pro version with an AMOLED screen and GPS support was launched in the market, but this time, the company has decided to launch only one model. 

The Realme Watch S2 can have a large colour display of 4.4 cm and GPS and dual-satellite capacity. Additionally, the Realme Watch S2 can also feature 90 sports modes.

The Realme Watch S2 can also get 14 days of battery backup and better support for monitoring blood oxygen and heart rate.

The Realme Watch S2 may have IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. We will get more detailed information about the smartwatch in the coming days. 

Realme brings a new design for their Realme 13 Pro Series and it will use a different colour option as Monet Gold, Monet Purple. Realme also announced a collaboration with Sony cameras in which the device may include Sony LYT-701 and LYT-600 periscope cameras and AI features.

Realme 13 Pro series launch date officially announced

Realme has announced that the Realme 13 Pro series is ready to hit the market soon. However, the company has not revealed the launch date; a report leaked the information. Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ may be launched on July 30 at 14:30 UTC+8.

Both models will be available in three colour options: Emerald Green (Vegan leather), Monet Gold (Glass Back), and Monet Purple(Glass back). 

The upcoming device will come in four configurations: 8GB/128GB RAM, 8GB/256 GB RAM, 12 GB/256 GB RAM, and 12GB/512 GB RAM.

The brand has not revealed the specifications, but the TENNA certification reveals that the Realme 13 Pro+ will feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolutions. 

The device is also expected to feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. As for the chipset, the device might use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage.

The phone will likely run on Realme UI 5, based on Android 14. It also uses AI-powered features for the camera. 

Under the hood, the Realme 13 Pro+’s battery capacity is also in doubt. It is expected that the device might use 5,050 mAh, 5,150 mAh, or 5,200 mAh. As for the camera, the device will feature a 32 MP front camera, while the triple rear camera system is expected to include a 50 MP Sony LYT-701 primary camera with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Realme GT 6T launches new colour variant in India

The Realme GT 6T was launched in India in May. At that time, it was available in two colour options: Fluid Silver and Razro Green. Now, a third colour option is also available, Miracle Purple. This new colour option is available from July 20 via Amazon, Flipkart, offline stores, and 

This information is revealed by Realme’s official post, but the company has not changed the specifications, which look quite similar to the older versions. The device includes a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 2780 x 1264 pixels resolutions. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. 

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which supports the 4nm TSMC process and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs on the Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 for the operating systems, which gets 3 OS updates and 4 security updates. 

Moreover, the device supports the Iceberg vapour cooling system, which is a 9-layer 10014 mm square of 3D tempered dual VC. It packs a 5500 mAh battery that supports a 120W SuperVOOC charger. For the camera, the device houses a 50 MP OIS and an 8MP wide-angle camera, while the front camera supports a 32 MP lens. However, the company has not confirmed the price details of the device.
