Realme 12 Pro Series to Launch Soon: Here’s the First Look
The great Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Realme, is currently busy in the preparations for its next big launch, the Realme 12 Pro series, consisting of two models, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. As of now, according to a few hints given by the brand, this forthcoming series is going to be a proper flagship-level mid-range model. With that, here’s a quick look at what the upcoming flagship model, the Realme 12 Pro series, will look like.
Simultaneously, on January 1st, Realme India shared a short teaser that read, “Stay tuned for the real update.” The teaser has an image in which a morse code can be seen, which indirectly points towards the arrival of the most-awaited Realme 12 Pro series, which is highly expected to launch in India very soon. In contrast, we have received a first-ever look at this mid-range Realme 12 Pro series, thanks to a reliable tipster, Abhishek Yadav.
Abhishek Yadav, on X, shared a post with an image that showcases the first-ever look of the forthcoming Realme 12 Pro series. Within the image, it can be noticed that the back panel will have a similar leather finish as it was seen in the previous Realme 11 Pro series, except for its camera module.
As it can be seen in the image, the camera module of the Realme 12 Pro series is very different from that of the Realme 11 Pro series. It looks like there’s a quad camera setup with an LED flashlight, which looks very unique and interesting. In the meantime, on the font section, there’s a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.

The Camera Control Button Will Not Come In Realme GT 7 Pro
The iPhone 16 Series was recently launched with a “Camera Control Button“, a dedicated touch-sensitive button that lets users launch the camera and modify various settings before taking a photo. Additionally, the Chinese smartphone maker has already teased a similar button on the upcoming smartphone, which may offer functionality similar to the iPhone.
According to Realme Vice President Chase Xu, a new dedicated camera button has been shown on an unannounced smartphone. Its video is officially available and mentions its use and features. Once the camera is loaded into the device, users can easily zoom in and out and press it to capture images.
The camera control button has been confirmed to come on the handset but will not be used in Realme GT 7 Pro. On the other hand, Realme has done this before, including many features inspired by Apple in its device. An example of this can be seen in the form of a software feature called Mini Capsule in Realme C55.
Realme is also working on many other features brought by Apple but has not confirmed when all these features will be seen in the device. Eventually, all these features can also come on midrange or budget smartphones, and all these features can also give Realme users a new experience.
