Realme Expands Note Series: Two New Budget Phones in the Pipeline

According to recent online reports, the business has formally hinted at the impending launch of the Realme Note series. Early rumors suggested that a new smartphone, dubbed the Realme Note 50 4G, was in the works. Remarkably, Realme has now joined the Note series—a fact not previously connected to the brand. Hints that Realme may drop one of its low-cost lines increase the mystery.

The CEO of Realme, Sky Li, announced the launch of a new product line on X (previously Twitter) with the release of a teaser graphic that prominently included the word “note” in bold letters. Fans are getting excited even though the teaser didn’t reveal a precise launch date or any information on the anticipated models.

The Realme Note 50 4G, model number RMX3834, has appeared on the websites of Thailand’s NBTC and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Anticipations suggest that this model will be available in India, with a possible price range of Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8,000.

Reports suggest that the Realme Note 40 5G will feature a 64GB internal storage capacity, a Unisoc chipset, and up to 8GB of RAM (including 4GB of virtual RAM). The smartphone is probably going to have a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen and run Realme TUI right out of the box. Regarding photography, it is rumored that the Note 40 5G would include two cameras on the back: a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 0.8-megapixel secondary sensor. It is anticipated that the front camera will include a 5-megapixel sensor.

The Sky Li teaser has created excitement, but Realme has not yet made official announcements on the forthcoming Note series, including the possible withdrawal of a budget range and the detailed specifications of the Realme Note 40 5G. With each passing day, Realme fans are getting more and more excited about the upcoming Note series launch.

Realme 14 Series lineup Could Get “Pro Lite” Model Soon

Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 14 series globally early next year and now it has been confirmed that a new model will also be added to this series. This series was said to include Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+ Models. 

According to 91 mobiles, Realme is planning to add Realme 14 Pro Lite 5G to this series as well. Earlier, also the brand did the same with the previous series. The Realme 13 Series included five devices – Realme 13 4G, Realme 13 Pro, Realme 13 Pro+ and Realme 13+. 

The addition of another model Pro Lite to the Realme 14 series seems to be true for the previous series. On the other hand, Realme 14 Pro Lite 5G for the Indian market has been spotted with model number RMX990. This upcoming device will be available in four configurations – 8GB/12GB, 8GB/256 GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. 

The device will also include three color options – Emerald Green, Monet Purple, and Monet Gold. However, the price and features of the Realme 14 Pro Lite are yet to be revealed by the brand. One can also expect a large AMOLED display and Android 15-based Realme UI 6 on this device. According to a rumor, realme will launch the 14 series in India in 2025.

Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT 7 Pro in India soon on November 26 and it could be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone in the country. The chipset makes it clear that the device will be AI-centric. In addition, this device has many features that can make it the best gaming device.

Additionally, the brand has confirmed that the Realme GT 7 Pro GT will also feature GT Mode 2.0. Although Realme has not yet given detailed information about it, it is likely that this feature will come with an AI gaming feature in the phone to enhance the gaming experience. Realme GT 7 Pro GT claimed that GT Mode 2.0 AI power-saving frames will deliver a GOAT-like experience. 

The AI Gaming Super Frame feature will also allow the device to support 120 frames per second gameplay for MOBA games, 60 fps in AAC games and role-playing games with AI Gaming Super Resolution. Some time ago, Realme confirmed that the GT 7 Pro has been launched in China with a 6500 mAh battery, 120W wired fast charging support and a 50 MP Sony IMX096 main camera. 

Specification and Feature

The device may be available in Mars Design and Galaxy Gray colors. In China, the Realme GT 7 Pro relies on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 for software. For storage, it will rely on up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The device will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.78-inch 2K display. 

The triple rear camera setup on the phone includes a 50 MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle shooter and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera. On the front, there is also a 16 MP selfie camera. The Realme GT 7 Pro packs a 6500 mAh battery that supports 120W wired rapid charging.

Price and availability

It has received IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Realme GT 7 Pro will be priced at CNY 3,699 for the 12GB+512GB options in China, while it could be priced at around Rs. 43,800 in India.

Realme is working on a Realme foldable device that could be a foldable display. The foldable device in this patent will likely have magnetic components that can help fold and unfold the device with one hand. This new device can be a book-style foldable. This newly developed smartphone is expanding the brand’s technology to push the boundaries of new design and functionality. 

This Realme patent indicates a foldable with magnetic components through 91 mobiles and the China National Intellectual Property Administration. The patent for this new device of Realme was filed in July 2023, and after a year, it was approved in March 2024. 

According to this patent, the magnetic components in Realme’s upcoming foldable make it easier to fold and unfold the device. The patent also states that the magnetic elements can control the movement of the magnetic element. In addition, the first magnetic element will be able to slide along the axis of the hinge and control a drive unit. 

Also, all controls and drive units will wait for the user’s commands. This upcoming foldable phone with magnetic technology can make use easier and give a better experience. Realme CMO Francis Wong confirmed that the brand is soon going to launch a foldable phone with durability and new effectiveness earlier this year. However, this device may also take some time to launch.
