Realme 12 Pro+ 5G & Realme 12 Pro 5G Officially Launched , Early Access Sale Starts On 29th January At 6:00 PM!



Realme introduced its latest portfolio today , the Realme 12 Pro series. The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12+Pro were released as successors to the Realme 11 Pro family. Realme will start the early access sales from today (29th January,2024) at 6pm. Anticipation surrounding the release, with teases and leaks pointing to considerable upgrades, particularly in the camera department. Notably, this was the first numbered series from Realme to include a telephoto sensor.

The Realme 12 Pro series featured a curved display, minimal bezels, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, giving it a sleek and futuristic appearance. Users could find the volume rocker and power button on the right edge, while the USB Type-C connector, SIM tray area, primary microphone, and speaker vents were on the bottom. A big circular camera module at the back housed triple camera sensors and an LED flash, and it was finished in leather with a metallic strap in the center. 

 Display-wise, the Realme 12 Pro series featured a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, ensuring a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. Regarding processing power, the Realme 12 Pro+ was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, while the standard Pro variant featured the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

Both models offered up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, potentially supporting memory expansion. The Realme 12 Pro+ boasted a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 64MP secondary lens, an 8MP camera, and a 32MP front camera. Meanwhile, the standard Realme 12 Pro housed a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor, with a 16MP front camera for selfies.

Battery-wise, both models featured a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, ensuring extended usage without compromising on charging speed. The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ underwent benchmarking on platforms like Geekbench, revealing their impressive performance capabilities running on Android 14 OS Based On Realme UI 5.0.

The series was offered in Blue and Navigator Beige, and the Realme 12 Pro will be on sale on Flipkart and on February 6 at noon. The Realme 12 Pro will be available at midnight on Flipkart and on February 6. The Chinese smartphone maker is providing a discount of up to Rs. 2,000 on ICICI Bank cards and a no-cost EMI for 12 months.

Realme Watch S2 with ChatGPT-powered AI Voice assistant to launch in India later this month

Realme Watch S2 with ChatGPT-powered AI voice assistant and Realme 13 Pro series 5G will launch in India on July 30. Earlier in 2020, the Realme Watch S was launched, and now its successor will come with a ChatGPT-powered AI personal assistant. 

The upcoming Realme Watch S2 may have a circular dial with two buttons on the right side. This Realme Watch S2 may come in the market in golden colour, like the Monet Gold Realme 13 Pro Series.

However, in the previous version, a Pro version with an AMOLED screen and GPS support was launched in the market, but this time, the company has decided to launch only one model. 

The Realme Watch S2 can have a large colour display of 4.4 cm and GPS and dual-satellite capacity. Additionally, the Realme Watch S2 can also feature 90 sports modes.

The Realme Watch S2 can also get 14 days of battery backup and better support for monitoring blood oxygen and heart rate.

The Realme Watch S2 may have IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. We will get more detailed information about the smartwatch in the coming days. 

Realme brings a new design for their Realme 13 Pro Series and it will use a different colour option as Monet Gold, Monet Purple. Realme also announced a collaboration with Sony cameras in which the device may include Sony LYT-701 and LYT-600 periscope cameras and AI features.

Realme 13 Pro series launch date officially announced

Realme has announced that the Realme 13 Pro series is ready to hit the market soon. However, the company has not revealed the launch date; a report leaked the information. Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ may be launched on July 30 at 14:30 UTC+8.

Both models will be available in three colour options: Emerald Green (Vegan leather), Monet Gold (Glass Back), and Monet Purple(Glass back). 

The upcoming device will come in four configurations: 8GB/128GB RAM, 8GB/256 GB RAM, 12 GB/256 GB RAM, and 12GB/512 GB RAM.

The brand has not revealed the specifications, but the TENNA certification reveals that the Realme 13 Pro+ will feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolutions. 

The device is also expected to feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. As for the chipset, the device might use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage.

The phone will likely run on Realme UI 5, based on Android 14. It also uses AI-powered features for the camera. 

Under the hood, the Realme 13 Pro+’s battery capacity is also in doubt. It is expected that the device might use 5,050 mAh, 5,150 mAh, or 5,200 mAh. As for the camera, the device will feature a 32 MP front camera, while the triple rear camera system is expected to include a 50 MP Sony LYT-701 primary camera with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
